1. Accuracy of InformationAll information submitted during registration must be 100% accurate and truthful. The Ceylon Pickle League (CPL) reserves the right to conduct verification and background checks. If any false, misleading, or incomplete details are discovered, the applicant may be immediately disqualified from the registration and selection process.
2. League DiscretionCPL retains full and final discretion to accept or reject any registration, exclude players from the draft or auction, or make any player-related decision without providing explanation. The league’s decisions are final and binding.
3. Marketing & Promotional UseBy registering, you agree to make yourself available for marketing, media, and promotional activities related to the league and its franchises. This may include photography, interviews, social media features, branding content, and public appearances.
4. No Guarantee of SelectionSubmitting your registration does not guarantee selection for the player draft, auction, or inclusion in any team. Final team compositions are at the discretion of team owners and the league.
5. Media & Content RightsBy registering, you grant CPL and its media partners the irrevocable right to use your name, image, likeness, footage, voice recordings, and performance data in any league-related broadcasts, digital content, advertising, promotional materials, and commercial communications, without the need for additional permissions or compensation.
6. Commitment Upon SelectionIf a player is successfully selected during the official CPL Player Auction or Draft and subsequently withdraws without a valid and verifiable reason approved by the league (such as medical incapacity or exceptional circumstances), the player will be subject to a suspension of five (5) years from participation in the Ceylon Pickle League (CPL), including all associated events and activities.
The determination of what constitutes a valid reason shall remain solely at the discretion of CPL, and its decision shall be final and binding.
